Over the first few months of 2024, I began filling notebooks with research, with the focus being on sculpture and ‘physical’ space. This notebook is split in two sections: the first half is filled with my notes on relevant pieces of art writing, and the second contains a rambling, stream-of-consciousness, journal-entry style of brainstorming.
Actively thinking critically of art writing and theory before trying to apply that to potential ideas has become the basis of my practice.
